ASE Audiology is a family run, independent service specialising in paediatric hearing assessment and management.

Based at Spire Manchester Hospital in Didsbury, and with over 15 years’ experience, we specialise in hearing tests and hearing aids in all age groups of children from age 1 and upwards.

At ASE Audiology, we understand that your children are your world, that’s why we ensure that we provide specialised, child friendly hearing assessment, to make sure that their hearing doesn’t hold them back.

We also work with a wide range of other specialities including Ear Nose and Throat, Speech and Language Therapy, Paediatric Specialists and Educational Psychology to ensure that we can provide a complete service for the needs of you or your child.

We also provide assessment and management for adults with hearing loss.

  We saw Adam with our 22 month old after persistent ear infections and concerns over his hearing (noted by nursery and family). Adam was incredible with children and gained our toddler's trust quick through games.   We’ve visited Adam twice with my 5 year old daughter and both experiences have been extremely positive. He is engaging and funny, just what my daughter needed to come out of her shell and complete the (rather fun) hearing test.   I took my son (who was nearly 3 at the time) to see Adam, due to concerns about the clarity of his speech and to rule out hearing difficulties as a cause. Adam was fantastic at engaging with my son (even though it was my son’s usual nap time and he got a bit tired and distracted at one point - Adam managed to reengage him!). Adam explained his assessment and the next steps clearly and I was very satisfied with the process. ASE have also been very helpful answering my queries over the phone.   We visited with my 8 month old baby for a hearing test after both of his ear drums perforated and our consultant needed to confirm they had healed over and that his hearing had returned to normal. Adam was amazing with my little boy, he engaged with Evan in such a brilliant manner. The whole experience was great. There wasn’t a moment where Evan appeared upset or unhappy. The system Adam uses is fantastic and I couldn’t recommend him enough. He gave a really clear outcome and next steps for us making the process easy to digest.
